Belica is a small settlement located in the Municipality of Osilnica in southern Slovenia.

Belica lies within the traditional region of Lower Carniola (Slovene: Dolenjska) and is presently part of the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The settlement is situated in a hilly, forested area near the Kolpa River, close to the border with Croatia. According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, the settlement had a population of 3 residents as of the 2002 census and covers an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometres. The settlement is administered by the municipal authorities of Osilnica.
Etymology/Origin
The name Belica is derived from the Slovene adjective bela (“white”) with the diminutive suffix ‑ica, commonly used for small watercourses or places associated with a light or pale appearance. The toponym likely refers to a nearby stream or spring characterized by clear or whitish water.
