Bediha Gün

Bediha Gün (born 26 October 1994) is a Turkish freestyle wrestler who competes in the women's 55 kg and 59 kg weight categories. She was born in İzmir, Turkey, and is a member of the Ankara Aski Sport Club. Gün is also a student at the Kırkpınar Physical Education and Sports College of Trakya University.

Career highlights

  • European Championships: Gün has earned multiple medals at the European Wrestling Championships, including a silver medal in the 59 kg division at the 2025 Championships in Bratislava, and bronze medals in the 55 kg division at the 2018 (Kaspiysk), 2019 (Bucharest), 2020 (Rome), and 2022 (Budapest) editions.
  • Islamic Solidarity Games: She won a bronze medal in the 55 kg class at the 2017 Games in Baku.
  • Mediterranean Games: Gün secured gold medals in the 57 kg division at both the 2018 Games in Tarragona and the 2022 Games in Oran.
  • Yasar Dogu Tournament: She achieved gold medals in the 55 kg category in 2017 (Istanbul) and 2019 (Istanbul), and a gold in the 59 kg class at the 2025 edition in Kocaeli. She also earned silver medals in 2012 (Ankara, 55 kg), 2016 (Istanbul, 53 kg), and 2023 (Istanbul, 57 kg).
  • Dan Kolov – Nikola Petrov Tournament: Gün captured a gold medal in the 55 kg class at the 2014 event in Sofia.
