Beat Forster

Playing Career

Forster began his professional career with [[HC Davos]] during the 2000-01 season. He quickly established himself as a reliable defenseman and became a key part of Davos's blueline, contributing to their [[National League (ice hockey)|National League]] championships.

In 2007, Forster moved to the [[ZSC Lions]], where he continued his success, winning another NL championship. After a stint with the Lions, he returned to HC Davos for a second tenure. During his various tenures with Davos, he was a key component of their defense, known for his leadership and robust style of play.

In 2017, he signed with [[EHC Biel]], where he has since been a foundational player on their blueline, continuing to play at a high level into his late 30s and early 40s. His career is notable for its longevity and consistent performance at the highest level of Swiss hockey.

International Career

Forster has been a regular fixture on the [[Switzerland men's national ice hockey team|Swiss national ice hockey team]]. He has represented Switzerland in multiple [[IIHF World Championship|IIHF World Championships]], contributing to the team's defensive efforts. His international appearances include the [[Ice hockey at the 2006 Winter Olympics – Men's tournament|2006 Winter Olympics]] in Turin and the [[Ice hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics – Men's tournament|2010 Winter Olympics]] in Vancouver. He was also part of the Swiss team that won the silver medal at the [[2013 IIHF World Championship]].
