Overview
Beach handball was one of the sports contested at the 2019 South American Beach Games, which were held in Rosario, Argentina, from 14 to 23 March 2019. The competition took place on temporary beach handball courts constructed in the city’s venue for the Games.

Athletes from the member nations of the South American Sports Organization (ODESUR) competed in both the men’s and women’s tournaments. The participating countries included:

Competition Format
Both the men's and women's tournaments followed a round‑robin group stage, after which the top teams advanced to knockout rounds (semi‑finals and finals). Standard international beach handball rules, as governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF), were applied.
