Bachoco

Industrias Bachoco, S.A.B. de C.V., commonly known as Bachoco, is a leading Mexican agribusiness company primarily engaged in the production and sale of poultry products. Founded in 1952 by the Bours family in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, Bachoco has grown to become one of the largest producers of chicken, eggs, and balanced feed in Mexico, with a significant presence also in the United States.

The company's operations span the entire production chain, from breeding and hatching to feed manufacturing, processing, and distribution of a wide range of products including live birds, fresh and frozen chicken, eggs, and processed value-added chicken products. Beyond poultry, Bachoco also has a smaller but notable presence in the production of pork and other animal feed.

Headquartered in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, Bachoco is a publicly traded company, listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol IBA. Its extensive distribution network allows it to serve both retail and institutional customers across Mexico and in the U.S., making it a major player in the North American food industry. The company's consistent focus on efficiency, quality, and vertical integration has been key to its sustained growth and market leadership.
