Avraham Toledano

Avraham Toledano (Hebrew: אברהם טולדנו) is an Israeli politician and rabbinic educator. He served as the mashgiach ruchani (spiritual supervisor) of Yeshivat Haraayon Hayehudi, a religious‑nationalist yeshiva in Israel’s West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba.

Born in Morocco, Toledano received his early education there before continuing his studies in France. He later immigrated to Israel, where he settled in the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba and became involved in religious‑political activism. In addition to his scholarly pursuits, Toledano holds a black belt in judo.

In the political arena, Toledo nó is most closely associated with the far‑right Kach party, founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane. He was placed fourth on Kach’s candidate list for the 1988 Knesset elections. Following Kahane’s assassination in November 1990, Toledano briefly assumed the leadership of Kach before Baruch Marzel succeeded him as the party’s head.

Toledano’s public profile is primarily linked to his roles within religious education and the extremist Kach movement, which was later banned from Israeli politics for its racist platform. His activities have been documented in multiple biographical sources, including Wikipedia and related reference works.
