Aulakowszczyzna is situated in the administrative district of Gmina Nowy Dwór, within Sokółka County. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of the village of Nowy Dwór, 23 km (14 mi) north of the county seat Sokółka, and 56 km (35 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
