Overview
Born on 6 February 1850 in the village of Všeruby (then part of the Austrian Empire, now the Czech Republic), Němejc pursued artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under the guidance of prominent teachers such as František Ženíšek. He later continued his education in Munich, where he was exposed to contemporary European painting trends.
