Aspergillus clavatonanicus is a species of fungus in the genus Aspergillus, belonging to the Clavati section. It was first described in 1955 by the mycologists Batista, H. Maia, and Alecrim, based on a study of onychomycosis (fungal nail infection) caused by this organism, published in the Anais da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Recife.

It has also been investigated for its antimicrobial properties and its potential as a source of bioactive secondary metabolites.
