Ashley Bashioum (born August 31, 1983) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Cassie Newman on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless, a part she portrayed from 1998 to 2005. Bashioum began her acting career as a child, appearing in television commercials before securing her long‑term role on the soap opera.
After leaving The Young and the Restless, she made guest appearances on a few television series, including a role in the 2006 episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation titled “Coup de Grace.” Bashioum has also been credited in independent film projects and short films, though her on‑screen activity has been relatively limited in recent years.
