As Sudayrah, Makkah

As Sudayrah is a wadi (valley) and a locality situated within the Makkah Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Geographically, it is located to the east or northeast of the city of Makkah itself. The wadi is known for its relatively fertile land, which has historically supported agricultural activities, primarily the cultivation of palm trees and various crops, sustained by seasonal rainfall and groundwater.

The area of As Sudayrah has historical significance, often serving as a stopover or a transit point along ancient routes connecting Makkah with other regions of the Arabian Peninsula. Its landscape is characterized by dry riverbeds, rocky formations, and occasional green patches, particularly after rain. While not a major urban center, As Sudayrah represents a typical rural or semi-rural settlement within the Makkah region, embodying elements of traditional Arabian agricultural life and desert ecology.
