Arthur is an American‑Canadian animated educational television series produced by WGBH Boston in association with Cinar (later Cookie Jar Entertainment) and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The series is based on the Arthur books by Marc Brown and follows the everyday adventures of an eight‑year‑old aardvark named Arthur Read and his friends and family.
