Arthur Günsburg

Arthur Günsburg (born December 29, 1872, died 1949) was a German film editor and occasional film director, active primarily during the Weimar Republic and early Nazi era. He was a prominent figure in the German film industry, contributing to numerous productions as an editor for several decades.

Life and Career Günsburg began his career in the German film industry in the early 20th century, transitioning from the silent film era into the sound film period. While primarily recognized for his extensive work as a film editor, he also directed a handful of films in the early sound era. His directorial efforts include "Morgen geht's uns gut" (1930) and "Viktoria und ihr Husar" (1931).

As an editor, Günsburg worked on a wide range of genres, from dramas and comedies to operettas, collaborating with various directors and production companies. His filmography as an editor is extensive, encompassing dozens of films. He continued to work as an editor into the mid-1930s.
