Arentim e Cunha is a freguesia (civil parish) in the municipality of Santo Tirso, Portugal. It is located within the Porto District.
The parish was officially established in 2013 as part of a significant administrative reorganization of civil parishes across Portugal. This reorganization, enacted by Law n.ยบ 11-A/2013 on January 28, 2013, aimed to reduce the number of administrative divisions by merging smaller or contiguous parishes. Arentim e Cunha was formed from the amalgamation of the former civil parishes of Arentim and Cunha.
As of the 2021 census, Arentim e Cunha had a population of 3,115 inhabitants. The parish covers an area of approximately 6.70 square kilometers (2.59 sq mi). Its creation reflects the broader effort to optimize local governance and administrative efficiency in Portugal.
