Antonio Plazibat

Antonio Plazibat (born 12 December 1993 in Split, Croatia) is a Croatian professional kickboxer who competes in the heavyweight division of Glory and is a former K‑1 Heavyweight Champion.

Early life and amateur career
Plazibat began training in kickboxing at age 15 and entered competitive sport with Ameno Gym. As an amateur he earned medals at World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) events, winning silver at the 2015 WAKO World Championships and gold at the 2018 European Championships.

Professional career
He made his professional debut in August 2013 at “Oluja u Ringu 5,” defeating Marko Vidović by knockout. Early victories on the regional circuit led to a contract with Final Fight Championship (FFC), where he won the FFC Futures Kickboxing Light‑Heavyweight tournament in 2014. Plazibat subsequently fought for SUPERKOMBAT, securing a technical‑knockout win over former cruiserweight champion Bogdan Stoica in July 2016.

In 2018 he signed with Glory, the premier international kickboxing promotion, and has since become one of its prominent heavyweight fighters. As of December 2024, Combat Press ranks him as the world’s fifth‑best heavyweight; he has been listed among the top ten heavyweights continuously since August 2021.
