Antonio Di Carlo (born 10 June 1962) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Throughout his career, he was known for his technical abilities and vision in the midfield.
Born in Naples, Di Carlo began his youth career with Foggia, where he later made his senior debut. His professional career spanned several Italian clubs, primarily in Serie A and Serie B, the top two tiers of Italian football. He played for teams such as Foggia, Piacenza, Reggina, Fiorentina, and Genoa.
He gained significant experience in Serie A, particularly during his spells with Fiorentina and Genoa, where he established himself as a reliable and influential midfielder. Di Carlo concluded his professional playing career in the early 1990s. After retiring from playing, he has occasionally been involved in coaching roles at youth or amateur levels.
