Anton Joksch

Anton Joksch (24 May 1900 – 25 June 1961) was an Austrian cross-country skier who competed in the 1928 Winter Olympics.

Born in Sankt Anton am Arlberg, Austria-Hungary (now Austria), Joksch was a notable figure in Austrian cross-country skiing during the 1920s. He represented Austria at the II Winter Olympics held in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

His sole Olympic appearance was in the men's 50 km cross-country skiing event. He completed the demanding course, finishing in 16th place with a time of 5 hours, 38 minutes, and 45 seconds. This was a respectable result for an Austrian athlete, as cross-country skiing was largely dominated by Nordic countries at the time.

Anton Joksch passed away in his hometown of Sankt Anton am Arlberg in 1961.
