Anthericonia is a monotypic genus of stick insect in the family Pseudophasmatidae (striped walkingsticks). The only known species is Anthericonia anketeschke, which was described by the entomologist O. Zompro in 2004.

Distribution Anthericonia anketeschke is found in Costa Rica (Central America). The type locality is Hondura, Costa Rica. The holotype specimen (a female) is deposited at the Zoologisches Institut und Zoologisches Museum, Universität Hamburg (ZMUH).
Description and Ecology As a member of the order Phasmatodea, Anthericonia species are herbivorous insects with biting-chewing mouthparts. They exhibit hemimetabolous development (incomplete metamorphosis, with gradual changes through molting without a pupal stage). The body symmetry is bilaterally symmetric, and the insects are multicellular and terrestrial.
