Ante Aikio (born 1978) is a Finnish linguist specializing in Uralic languages, particularly the Sámi languages of northern Scandinavia. He earned his Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Helsinki in 2005, with a dissertation on the historical phonology of Sámi. Aikio has held research and teaching positions at the University of Helsinki, where he serves as a professor in the Department of Linguistics.
