Anil Kumble (born 17 October 1970) is a former Indian cricketer and captain who is widely regarded as one of the greatest spin bowlers in the history of the sport. Over a career spanning 18 years (1990–2008), he represented the India national cricket team in 132 Test matches and 271 One Day Internationals (ODIs).
