Ángel Carlos Ramírez Sánchez (born 7 July 1955) is a Cuban rower. He competed in the men's eight event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. He also won a silver medal in the eight event at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City.
Angel Ramirez (born 1999 or 2000), also known as Angelina Ramirez, is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who has represented the 78th district in the Iowa House of Representatives since May 2025. She is the first Latina ever elected to the Iowa General Assembly. She was elected in a special election on April 29, 2025, receiving 79% of the vote. Ramirez is a first-generation college graduate from Coe College, where she earned bachelor's degrees in political science and social and criminal justice. She co-founded Our Future, a nonprofit fellowship program for emerging leaders in the Cedar Rapids region.
