Andrea Toscano

Andrea Toscano (born November 19, 1998) is a Mexican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Mexicana Universal 2018. She represented Mexico at the Miss Universe 2018 competition.

Andrea Toscano was born in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. She pursued higher education at the University of Colima, where she studied Nutrition. Her academic background reflects an interest in health and well-being, which she has often highlighted during her public appearances and advocacy efforts.

Toscano began her pageantry journey by competing in her home state's competition, where she was crowned Mexicana Universal Colima 2017. This victory earned her the right to represent Colima at the national pageant.

In 2018, Andrea Toscano competed in Mexicana Universal, the national pageant that selects Mexico's representative for Miss Universe. Despite being one of the youngest contestants in the competition, her eloquence, poise, and intelligence resonated with the judges and audience. On May 27, 2018, she was crowned Mexicana Universal 2018, succeeding Denisse Franco and earning the right to represent Mexico at Miss Universe.

As Mexicana Universal 2018, Toscano traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, to compete in the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. Despite a strong performance and being a fan favorite, she did not place in the Top 20 semifinals of the competition, which was ultimately won by Catriona Gray of the Philippines.
