Andrea Klambauer

Andrea Klambauer (born 30 August 1975) is an Austrian politician affiliated with the Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP). She has served in the provincial government of Vorarlberg, most prominently as State Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, and Tourism.

Early life and education
Klambauer was born in Bregenz, Vorarlberg, Austria. She pursued higher education at the University of Innsbruck, where she earned a degree in political science and public administration.

Political career
Klambauer entered politics as a member of the ÖVP and held various positions within the party’s regional structures. In 2014, she was elected to the Vorarlberg Landtag (state parliament). Following the 2019 state elections, she was appointed State Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, and Tourism in the Vorarlberg state government under Governor Markus Wallner. In this role, she has overseen initiatives related to renewable energy expansion, climate adaptation measures, and the promotion of sustainable tourism in the region.
