Anastasia Simakova (born September 9, 2004) is a rhythmic gymnast known for competing at the international level. Born in Omsk, Russia, she rose to prominence as a junior athlete representing the Russian Federation.
Simakova's most notable athletic achievements occurred during the 2019 Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Moscow. At this event, she secured two gold medals: one in the rope apparatus final and another as part of the Russian team competition. During her junior career, she was recognized for her technical difficulty and execution scores.
In 2022, following the suspension of Russian athletes from international sporting events, Simakova relocated to Germany, a country where she has ancestral ties. In 2023, she officially received German citizenship and was granted permission by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) to represent Germany in international competitions. She began training at the National Training Center in Fellbach-Schmiden to continue her senior competitive career.
