Anaïs Morichon (born 18 October 1999) is a French professional racing cyclist who specializes in both track and road cycling. She is a multi-time French national champion on the track and has earned medals at the European Track Championships in various junior and under-23 categories.
Career
Morichon began her cycling career at a young age, primarily focusing on track events where she quickly demonstrated significant potential. Her early successes include medaling at the European Junior Track Championships. In 2016, she secured a bronze medal in the Omnium event. The following year, 2017, saw her claim a silver medal in the Madison and a bronze in the Team Pursuit at the Junior European Championships.As she transitioned into the elite and under-23 categories, Morichon continued to achieve notable results. In 2018, she became a French national elite champion in the Madison event. Her prowess in endurance track disciplines was further highlighted with a bronze medal in the Elimination Race at the 2019 U23 European Track Championships.
Morichon has firmly established herself as one of France's leading track cyclists, particularly excelling in the Elimination Race and Omnium. She notably secured consecutive French national elite titles in the Elimination Race in 2021, 2022, and 2023. She also claimed the Omnium national title in both 2022 and 2023, showcasing her versatility across different track disciplines.
While her most significant achievements have been on the track, Morichon has also competed professionally in road cycling.
