Ana Alicia (born May 2, 1956) is an American actress best known for her work in television during the 1980s. She gained prominence for portraying the character Melissa Agretti on the primetime soap opera Falcon Crest (1986–1989).
Early life and education
Ana Alicia Ortiz was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Argentine parents. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied theater and performed in various stage productions.
Career
After graduating, Alicia moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She began with guest appearances on television series such as The Love Boat and The Incredible Hulk. In 1984, she secured a recurring role on the daytime drama The Young and the Restless, playing the character Lorna LaSalle.
