Ana Alicia

Ana Alicia (born May 2, 1956) is an American actress best known for her work in television during the 1980s. She gained prominence for portraying the character Melissa Agretti on the primetime soap opera Falcon Crest (1986–1989).

Early life and education
Ana Alicia Ortiz was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Argentine parents. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied theater and performed in various stage productions.

Career
After graduating, Alicia moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She began with guest appearances on television series such as The Love Boat and The Incredible Hulk. In 1984, she secured a recurring role on the daytime drama The Young and the Restless, playing the character Lorna LaSalle. Her most notable role came in 1986 when she joined the cast of Falcon Crest as Melissa Agretti, a role she maintained until the series concluded in 1990.

Following Falcon Crest, Alicia continued to work in television, appearing in episodes of series including Murder, She Wrote, The Love Boat, and Knight Rider. She also performed in theater productions and participated in various charitable endeavors, particularly those supporting arts education.

Personal life
Alicia has maintained a relatively private personal life. She has been involved in community outreach programs and has supported initiatives promoting Hispanic representation in media.
