Amirabad, Bam

Amirabad, Bam is a village located in the Central District of Bam County, within Kerman Province, Iran. The settlement is administratively part of the Howmeh Rural District. According to the national census conducted by the Statistical Center of Iran in 2006, Amirabad had a population of 1,247 individuals residing in 306 families. The village's coordinates are approximately 29°07′N latitude and 58°22′E longitude, placing it in the southeastern region of the country.

The name “Amirabad” is a compound of Persian elements: “Amir,” meaning “commander” or “prince,” and the suffix “‑abad,” which denotes a cultivated place or settlement.
