Alphabeat is a Danish pop music group formed in 2003 in the town of Silkeborg, Denmark. The band is known for its energetic, synth‑driven pop sound that incorporates elements of 1980s new wave, disco, and contemporary dance‑pop.
Members
The original lineup consisted of vocalist Stine Bramsen and three male musicians, all named Anders: Anders Stig Jørgensen (who performs under the stage name “Anders SG”, handling vocals and guitar), Anders B. (bass guitar) and Anders Rein (drums). Over the course of the band’s career, the personnel have remained largely stable, with Bramsen and Jørgensen serving as the primary public faces and songwriters.

Third album – Express Non‑Stop (2012). The album continued the band’s dance‑pop trajectory and included tracks such as “Love Sea” and “Heartbreak in the City”. Hiatus and return – After a period of reduced activity beginning in 2013, Alphabeat announced a comeback in 2017. Their fourth studio album, Don’t Know What’s Wrong with You, was released in 2018 and marked a return to brighter, melodic pop.
