History
The bank was formed in 2022 through the merger of two institutions: AlpenBank (founded in 1983 as Save-Rössler-Bank AG, renamed AlpenBank in 1991, with a majority stake acquired by Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG in 1998) and the private banking unit of Walser Raiffeisen Bank (founded in 1894 as a cooperative savings and loan association).
