All in Good Time is a 2012 British comedy‑drama film directed by Nigel Cole. The screenplay, written by Ayub Khan‑Din, adapts his 2007 stage play Rafta, Rafta, which itself was based on Bill Naughton’s 1963 play All in Good Time and the 1966 film adaptation The Family Way. The picture was produced by Left Bank Pictures and distributed in the United Kingdom by StudioCanal.

Synopsis
Atul and Vina, a newly married couple of Indian‑British heritage, move into a cramped house shared with Atul’s parents in Bolton, England. The lack of privacy and the overbearing presence of Atul’s father hinder the couple’s attempts to consummate their marriage. As tensions rise and the relationship strains, Vina temporarily leaves. After a candid conversation with his father, Atul reconciles with Vina, and the couple is finally able to begin their married life together.
