Alistair Walker

Alistair Walker (born 15 February 1965) is a Scottish former professional footballer who primarily played as a defender. He is best known for his playing spells with [[Hibernian F.C.]] and [[Dunfermline Athletic F.C.]] during the 1980s and 1990s.

Playing Career

Walker began his professional career with [[Hibernian F.C.]] in 1983. He quickly established himself as a reliable and versatile defender at Easter Road, capable of playing at full-back or centre-back. During his tenure with Hibs, he made over 100 league appearances and was part of the squad that won the [[Scottish League Cup]] in the 1991–92 season, though he did not feature in the final match.

In 1992, Walker transferred to [[Dunfermline Athletic F.C.]]. He spent several seasons at East End Park, becoming a consistent presence in their defence and contributing to their successful campaigns, including promotion to the Scottish Premier Division.

Following his time at Dunfermline, Walker moved to [[Raith Rovers F.C.]] in 1996. His career also included spells with other Scottish clubs such as [[Ayr United F.C.]], [[Livingston F.C.]], and [[Brechin City F.C.]] before his retirement from professional football.

Post-playing Career

After retiring from playing, Alistair Walker has maintained involvement in football, including roles in coaching at youth and amateur levels.
