Ali Al-Hammadi (born March 1, 2002) is an Iraqi professional footballer who plays as a forward. He is a member of the Iraq national team and, as of 2024, plays for the English club Ipswich Town.
Born in Amarah, Iraq, Al-Hammadi moved to the United Kingdom with his family at a young age, settling in Liverpool. He began his developmental football career in the youth academies of Tranmere Rovers and later Swansea City. His professional career includes tenures at several English clubs, notably Wycombe Wanderers and AFC Wimbledon.
Al-Hammadi gained significant professional attention during his time at AFC Wimbledon in EFL League Two, where his goal-scoring performance led to a transfer to Ipswich Town in January 2024. At the international level, Al-Hammadi chose to represent Iraq, making his debut for the senior national team in 2021 during the FIFA World Cup qualification rounds. Since his debut, he has been a regular selection for the national squad, participating in various international tournaments and qualifiers.
