Algonquin (album)

Algonquin is the second studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter and musician, Sarah Harmer. It was released in 2002 on Cold Snap Records. The album's title refers to Algonquin Park, a large provincial park in Ontario, Canada, a place of personal significance to Harmer. Musically, Algonquin features a blend of folk, rock, and pop influences, and lyrically explores themes of nature, memory, and social commentary. It spawned the singles "Around Harm" and "Almost", and was well-received by critics for its thoughtful lyrics and Harmer's distinctive vocals. The album won the Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year in 2003.
