Alexander Lindsay (rower)

Alexander Lindsay (16 October 1887 – 14 May 1968) was a British rower who competed for Great Britain in the 1908 Summer Olympics.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Lindsay was a member of the prestigious Leander Club. At the 1908 London Olympics, he was part of the British eight-oared crew, representing Leander Club. The crew successfully won the gold medal in the men's eight event, defeating Belgium in the final.

Lindsay passed away in Edinburgh, Scotland.
