Alex Rennie

Alex Rennie (born 14 September 1948) is a Scottish former professional footballer and manager. He primarily played as a midfielder throughout his career, which spanned several clubs in the Scottish Football League.

Playing Career Rennie began his professional football career with St Mirren in the late 1960s. He later moved to Arbroath, where he spent a significant portion of his playing days, establishing himself as a key player in their midfield. Following his time at Gayfield Park, he also had spells with other Scottish clubs, including Montrose, East Fife, and Cowdenbeath, before retiring as a player.

Managerial Career After concluding his playing career, Alex Rennie transitioned into management. He returned to his former club, Arbroath, to take on the managerial role, guiding the team during the 1980s.
