Alessandro Spanò

Alessandro Spanò (born 5 July 1994) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a defender. Primarily a centre-back, he has also been deployed as a right-back during his career.

Career Spanò began his football journey in the youth system of Reggiana, a club based in Reggio Emilia. After progressing through their academy, he made his senior debut for Reggiana, marking the beginning of his professional career.

Throughout his career, Spanò has gained considerable experience playing for various clubs primarily in Serie C (formerly Lega Pro), the third tier of Italian football. His professional stints include:

  • Reggiana: After emerging from their youth ranks, he featured for the first team across multiple seasons.
  • Virtus Francavilla: He joined Virtus Francavilla, where he continued to establish himself as a reliable defender.
  • Siena: Spanò also had a spell at Siena.
