Alessandro Siani

Alessandro Siani (born 17 September 1975) is an Italian actor, comedian, screenwriter, and film director. He is known for his work in Italian comedy cinema and television, as well as for his stand‑up performances.

Early life and education
Alessandro Siani was born in Naples, Italy. He attended the Naples Conservatory of Music, where he studied piano, and later pursued acting at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico in Rome.

Career

Television
Siani began his career in the late 1990s as a member of the comedy troupe “Tutto il mondo è teatro”. He gained national prominence through the television variety program Mai dire… (1999–2003) on Mediaset, where his sketches and impersonations were well received.

Film
Siani made his feature‑film debut as an actor in Il paradiso all'improvviso (2003). He achieved significant commercial success with Benvenuti al sud (2010), a comedy based on the French film Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis. The film became one of the highest‑grossing Italian comedies of the 2010s. Siani continued to star in and direct several successful films, including:
