Aleksandr Korobov

Aleksandr Vladimirovich Korobov (born March 11, 1978) is a Russian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He spent the majority of his career playing in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

Korobov began his professional career in the Russian Superleague (RSL) before its reformation into the KHL. He played for several prominent Russian clubs throughout his career, including Dynamo Moscow, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, Salavat Yulaev Ufa, and Severstal Cherepovets. Known for his defensive play, Korobov was a steady presence on the blueline for the teams he represented. He also had stints with Amur Khabarovsk and HC Kunlun Red Star before concluding his professional playing career.
