Albert Bell (footballer, born 1898)

Albert Edward Bell (24 September 1898 – 22 February 1968) was an English professional footballer who played as an outside-right. He had a notable career in the Football League during the 1920s and early 1930s, primarily with Notts County, Nottingham Forest, and Mansfield Town.

Bell began his professional career with Notts County, joining the club in 1920. He established himself as a regular fixture on the wing, making 88 appearances and scoring 10 goals in the Football League over five seasons before leaving in 1925.

In 1925, Bell moved to local rivals Nottingham Forest. He continued his consistent performance, playing 102 Football League matches and scoring 10 goals during his four-year tenure with the club.

His final Football League club was Mansfield Town, where he signed in 1929. Bell played a further 92 league games for Mansfield, adding 15 goals to his career tally, before concluding his Football League career in 1932. Across his career, he amassed over 280 Football League appearances.
