Alan Teasdale (15 July 1944 – 25 October 2023) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Early Life and Background
Teasdale was born on 15 July 1944. He was recruited from the Mildura South football club in regional Victoria.
Playing Career
Teasdale played for the Geelong Football Club in the VFL from 1964 to 1966. During this period, he appeared in 17 senior games for the club. He stood 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) tall and weighed approximately 80 kg (176 lb) during his playing career.
Death
Teasdale died on 25 October 2023, at the age of 79. His passing was noted by the Geelong Football Club, its board, players, staff, and the Geelong Cats Past Players & Officials, who extended condolences to his family and friends.
