Ahod Khalid Al-Amari (Arabic: عُهُود خَالِد الْعَمَّارِيّ; born 11 April 1991) is a Saudi former professional footballer and current football coach. She played as a midfielder and most recently served as an assistant coach for the Saudi Arabia women's national football team.
Early Life and Playing Career
Al-Amari was born in Saudi Arabia on 11 April 1991. She began her senior club career in the 2022–23 season of the Saudi Women's Premier League with Al Hilal, where she served as team captain and helped the club finish in second place. In the 2023–24 season, she moved to Al-Ahli, winning the SAFF Women's Cup and securing second place in the league. Following the conclusion of the 2023–24 season, Al-Amari retired from professional football.
International Career
In February 2022, Al-Amari was selected as part of the first-ever Saudi Arabia women's national football team, playing in two friendly matches against Seychelles and the Maldives.
Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Al-Amari transitioned into coaching, training girls under 17 at the Regional Training Centers (RTC) of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. She holds an AFC A coaching license, making her one of the earliest licensed female coaches in Saudi Arabian football.
In May 2024, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation appointed Al-Amari as an assistant to Spanish head coach Lluís Cortés on the technical staff of the Saudi Arabia women's national team. In August 2024, she completed a six-week coaching internship with Sevilla FC in Spain's Liga F.
