Ahmed Makarfi

Ahmed Baba Makarfi (born 2 August 1956) is a Nigerian politician who has served in several high‑profile political roles, most notably as Governor of Kaduna State from 1999 to 2007 and as a Senator representing Kaduna Central from 2007 to 2011. He later chaired the National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from 2016 to 2021.
