Agate Rašmane (born 22 August 1997 in Dobele, Latvia) is a Latvian sports shooter who specializes in pistol events. She has represented Latvia at the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Games, and Youth Olympic Games.
Career
Rašmane competed in the women's 10 metre air pistol event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. She also participated in the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, where she won a bronze medal in the mixed team 10 metre air pistol event as part of a mixed-NOC team.
At the 2019 European Games in Minsk, she won a silver medal in the mixed team 50 metre pistol event representing Latvia.
At the 2023 World Championships in Baku, Rašmane won a bronze medal in the women's 25 metre pistol event.
Personal life
Rašmane was born in Dobele, Latvia. She has expressed a childhood dream of becoming a sports teacher, a goal she has since fulfilled. In her free time, she enjoys reading and dancing. Her favorite book is Illusions by Richard Bach. She is also a cat owner.
