Aaron Plessinger

Aaron Plessinger (born January 25, 1996) is an American professional motocross and supercross racer who competes in the AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross championships. He is recognized for his success in both the 250cc and 450cc divisions and currently competes for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.

Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Plessinger is the son of Scott Plessinger, a multi-time Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) champion. This background in off-road racing influenced his transition into professional motocross. He turned professional in 2015, joining the Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha team.

Plessinger's most successful season in the support class occurred in 2018, when he captured both the AMA Supercross 250SX West Region Championship and the AMA Pro Motocross 250MX Championship. Following these titles, he transitioned to the premier 450cc class in 2019.

In the 450cc category, Plessinger initially competed for the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing team before moving to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in 2022. He has achieved multiple podium finishes in the premier class and secured his first career 450SX Main Event victory at the 2024 San Francisco Supercross. He is noted in the industry for a riding style adapted from his off-road roots and a public persona often characterized by Western-themed imagery.
