Aardman Animations

Aardman Animations is a British animation studio based in Bristol, United Kingdom. Founded in 1976 by Peter Lord and David Sproxton, the studio is renowned for its stop-motion clay animation, also known as claymation, though it has also produced works using other animation techniques, including computer-generated imagery (CGI).

The studio gained international recognition through characters such as Wallace and Gromit, created by Nick Park, and Morph, a small plasticine figure that appeared in short segments for the BBC's "Vision On" and later programs. Aardman has received numerous awards, including multiple Academy Awards, BAFTAs, and Emmys, for its animated short films and features.

Notable productions by Aardman include the feature films "Chicken Run" (2000), "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" (2005), and "Shaun the Sheep Movie" (2015). The studio has also collaborated with larger studios such as DreamWorks Pictures on films like "Flushed Away" (2006).

Aardman Animations maintains a distinctive artistic style characterized by hand-crafted aesthetics, British humor, and attention to detail in animation. The company continues to produce films, television series, and digital content for a global audience.
