The 2025 IIHF World Championship Division III consisted of two international ice hockey tournaments organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Divisions III A and III B represented the sixth and seventh tiers of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships. The tournaments were held in April–May 2025.
Group A (Istanbul, Turkey – 21 to 27 April 2025)
Participating teams: Turkey (host, relegated from Division II B), Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Turkmenistan, South Africa, and Bosnia and Herzegovina (promoted from Division III B).

Kyrgyzstan won all five games to finish first and earn promotion. Luxembourg was relegated after losing the head-to-head tiebreaker against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Scoring leaders: Mamed Seifulov (Kyrgyzstan) led with 9 points (6G+3A), followed by Colm Cannon (Luxembourg) with 8 points (5G+3A).
Goaltending: Alexander Petrov (Kyrgyzstan) posted a 94.57% save percentage and 1.07 GAA with one shutout.
Awards: Goaltender – Sava Voronov (Turkey); Defenceman – Kuzma Terentyev (Kyrgyzstan); Forward – Islambek Abdyraev (Kyrgyzstan).
Group B (Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico – 27 April to 3 May 2025)
Participating teams: Mexico (host, relegated from Division III A), North Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, and Mongolia (promoted from Division IV).

Mexico dominated the tournament with a perfect record and a +36 goal differential. Singapore was winless and relegated.
Scoring leaders: Héctor Majul (Mexico) and Batu Gendunov (Mongolia) each recorded 20 points. Majul scored 15 goals, while Gendunov had 9 goals and 11 assists.
Goaltending: Enkhkhuslen Enkh-Erdene (Mongolia) led with an 83.93% save percentage.
Awards: Goaltender – Alfonso de Alba (Mexico); Defenceman – Batu Batorovich (Mongolia); Forward – Héctor Majul (Mexico).
2025 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division III (U20)
The 2025 World Junior (U20) Division III consisted of two tournaments for players born in 2005 or later. Division III A was the sixth tier and Division III B the seventh tier of the IIHF World Junior Championship.
Division III A (Istanbul, Turkey – 27 January to 2 February 2025)
Participating teams: Chinese Taipei (relegated from Division II B), New Zealand, Bulgaria, Turkey (host), Mexico, and Bosnia and Herzegovina (promoted from Division III B).
