The 2024 Evian Championship, officially titled the 2024 Amundi Evian Championship for sponsorship reasons, was a professional women’s golf tournament held from July 11 to July 14, 2024. It took place at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France. This event marked the 30th edition of the tournament and its 11th year as a designated major championship on both the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour (LET).
The competition featured a 132-player field competing for a total purse of $8 million, with the winner’s share set at $1.2 million. Ayaka Furue of Japan won the championship, recording her first major title with a four-day total of 265, finishing 19 strokes under par. Furue secured the victory by making an eagle on the final hole of the tournament to finish one stroke ahead of runner-up Stephanie Kyriacou of Australia.
The tournament is the only major championship in professional golf held in Continental Europe. As a major, the 2024 Evian Championship provided points toward the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and qualification for various season-ending awards and international team competitions. Notable high finishers alongside Furue and Kyriacou included Patty Tavatanakit in third place and Lauren Coughlin in fourth.
