The 2017 Liga 3 Banten was the provincial edition of the Liga 3, the third tier of the Indonesian football league system, held in the Banten province. This competition served as a qualifying round for the national phase of the 2017 Liga 3. It was organized by the Provincial Association (Asprov) of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) Banten.
The tournament featured several football clubs based in the Banten region. The competition concluded on August 27, 2017, with the final match held at the Krakatau Steel Stadium in Cilegon. Persitangsel Tangerang Selatan won the championship title after defeating Persikota Tangerang in the final with a score of 3–0.
As the winner and runner-up respectively, both Persitangsel Tangerang Selatan and Persikota Tangerang advanced to represent the Banten province in the subsequent national rounds of the 2017 Liga 3 competition. The event marked the transition of the Indonesian third-tier competition from its previous name, Liga Nusantara, to the Liga 3 branding.
