The 2017 Judo Grand Prix Düsseldorf was an international judo competition held at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf, Germany, from February 24 to 26, 2017. The event was sanctioned by the International Judo Federation (IJF) as part of the IJF World Tour.
The tournament featured competitions across 14 weight categories: seven for men (-60kg, -66kg, -73kg, -81kg, -90kg, -100kg, and +100kg) and seven for women (-48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, -78kg, and +78kg). As a Grand Prix level event, it provided participants with the opportunity to earn world ranking points.
According to official IJF records, the 2017 edition saw participation from 344 athletes representing 49 nations. Japan finished at the top of the medal table, securing nine gold medals, followed by Georgia and France. This specific iteration was the final time the Düsseldorf event was held under the "Grand Prix" status; starting in 2018, the competition was elevated to a "Grand Slam" event.
