2012 Gastein Ladies

The 2012 Gastein Ladies was a professional women's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the sixth edition of the event and was part of the International category of the 2012 WTA Tour. The tournament took place at the Hotel Europäischer Hof in Bad Gastein, Austria, from June 11 to June 17, 2012. For sponsorship reasons, the event was officially titled the NÜRNBERGER Gastein Ladies.

In the singles competition, Alizé Cornet of France won the title by defeating the second seed, Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium, in the final with a score of 7–5, 7–6(7–1). This victory earned Cornet her second career WTA singles title and her first since 2008.

The doubles title was won by the fourth-seeded pair, Jill Craybas of the United States and Julia Görges of Germany. They defeated the first-seeded team of Anna-Lena Grönefeld and Petra Martić in the final with a score of 6–7(4–7), 6–4, [11–9].

The tournament featured a 32-player singles draw and a 16-pair doubles draw. The total prize money for the event was $220,000. Bad Gastein had hosted the tournament annually since its inception in 2007 as a replacement for the event previously held in Portorož, Slovenia.
